With his album "Insieme A Te", which sold a million copies, a graduate of the Florentine Conservatory Alessandro Safina, an opera singer who previously performed leading roles on the stages of the best theaters in Europe in the operas "La Boheme", "The Barber of Seville", "Mermaid", broke out beyond the boundaries of the academic art, essentially creating a new genre, which would later be called "opera rock". His unique voice and natural charm, bright charisma and creative courage, which allowed him to combine opera with popular music, rock and soul, became the components of his worldwide success.
The first single "Luna", which topped the European charts and became the main theme of the popular TV series "Clone", was followed by the recording of the soundtrack to the film Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge" and the performance of "Music Of the Night" by Andrew Lloyd Webber for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Five solo albums and amazing duets with Elton John ("Your Song"), Rod Stewart ("Don't Get Around Much Anymore"), Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, Andrea Bocelli, Sumi Cho, featured on Sarah's "Symphony" album Brightman and in the world tour "Symphony World Tour 2008", brought Alessandro's discs gold and platinum statuses and sold out shows all over the world!
The setlist will feature new songs and, of course, his best hits accompanied by a chamber symphony orchestra! ALESSANDRO SAFINA, Limassol, October 28!
