In 1980 a new band exploded on the metal scene that would change the world of music and create history; with songs that have become battle hymns, with a sound like no other, and a passion and determination that has defied any obstacles since. Their name: MANOWAR!
During their impressive career, they have left their mark in the Heavy Metal genre. With an unfaltering courage to always do what they believed in, the band has weathered even the most unconquerable challenges. In an age of casting show “talents” and short lived one-hit-wonders this band is giving their fans what they love them for: the massive, powerful soundtrack of their lives, songs that celebrate the audacity of the individual and the spirit of the community.
Numerous gold and platinum awards and more than 35 tours headlining venues that have averaged between 10,000 and 50,000 sold-out seats testify to this band’s status in the metal universe.
MANOWAR’s unparalleled loyal following all over the world is also reflected in their live events. Fans traveling from more than 40 nations to celebrate the band’s own Magic Circle Festival show the unmatched support of their “Manowarriors”. As a tribute to their devoted international following, MANOWAR’s 2009 release “Thunder In The Sky” achieved another first in Heavy Metal history by recording the power ballad, “Father” in 18 different languages (and counting).
Coinciding with their crushing “The Final Battle 2019” World Tour MANOWAR released the eponymously titled EP “The Final Battle – I”, the first in a trilogy of EPs and completely remixed and remastered re-issues of their milestone albums “Into Glory Ride”, now “Into Glory Ride Imperial Edition MMXIX” and “Hail To England”, now “Hail To England Imperial Edition MMXIX”, both utilizing brand new analog to digital 96kHz quality transfers of the original master recordings. All releases are available on iTunes and in well assorted online and retail music stores.
After a historic, first ever headlining performance in Mexico in 2020, hailed by over 50,000 ecstatic fans, MANOWAR will return to the stage in 2022 and 2023 with their CRUSHING THE ENEMIES OF METAL ANNIVERSARY TOUR ’22/’23.
